Flat Cut Letters

All our letters are supplied with locators fitted, spare cups and marked templates within the price, for easy trouble-free installation. Manufactured in house, and in a wide range of materials, we laser cut lettering in sizes from 15mm to 2000mm. These can stand off on locators/rods or applied flat to the wall.

Flat cut letters are letter forms that are cut out of a substrate. These ‘substrates’ can be made from Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Acrylic, Brass, Copper, perspex, PVC, MDF and Polystyrene. They can vary in thickness ranging from 1mm for stainless steel to 20mm for Acrylic to even thicker for polystyrene.

Flat cut letters start out as a design in a software program. The letter design is then converted to a vectorised format. This format allows a specalised machine called a CNC router to use the outline data from the design file to cut out the shape from the substrate resulting in a Flat Cut Letter.
