Bronze Cast Sign for Rosewood Hotel

Bronze Cast Sign for Rosewood Hotel

Creating lavish signage for a lavishly refurbished ultra-luxury Holborn hotel

Rosewood London is a grade-two listed luxury 5-star hotel located in Holborn, widely recognised regarded by travel critics as one of the most beautiful hotels in London.

It is managed by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is an international ultra-luxury hotel and resort company operating 27 hotels in 15 countries, currently owned by Hong Kong-based Rosewood Hotel Group.

An £85 million refurbishment demands top quality signage

After undergoing an £85 million restoration project in 2013, JFK Signs were invited by the Rosewood London management team to supply their signage after a competitive tendering process. The brief from the team was clear: after such extensive restoration, the signage needed to be absolutely top quality but also at a cost-effective price.

In turn, the hotel stipulated that we must work with in conjunction with their interior design partners, Tony Chi and Associates and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, both internationally recognised (The Evening Standard recently wrote: “think of a top London restaurant and there’s a good chance Martin Brudnizki designed it…From Annabel’s, Le Caprice, Dean Street Townhouse, Hix and The Ivy.”)

Timeless bronze cast plaques – the perfect match for historical elegance

In light of the brief, our expert sign design team worked hard to craft a series of top quality bronze cast plaques with embevelled text for the Rosewood London. These wayfinding signs were the perfect lead-in to Martin Brudnizki’s rich and tastefully opulent redesigned dining rooms.
