Creating the wayfinding reception signage for a premier-location office building in Westminster

36 Broadway is a prestigious mid-sized modern office building situated in Westminster. It accommodates many of the UK’s leading businesses and charities including Quintus, KPI Bridge Oil London, and Marsh Christian Trust. The premises offer a range of impressive facilities including VAV Air-conditioning, 24 hour access, commissionaire, excellent natural light, under floor trunking, showers and kitchenette suites.

A refurbished reception: the choice opportunity for new signage

After its reception was completely remodelled and refurbished in 2014, 36 Broadway’s estates team approached JFK to design and build some contemporary directional signage for it. As this was the home to many leading businesses, the brief was to produce some quality signage that matched the quality of the refurbishment. As well as this, the signage needed to be clear and succinct to easily direct staff and guests around the building.

A slick, fitting and functional directional sign system

In light of this, we carefully designed the directional signage to ensure it both proportionally and stylistically fitted the new reception, creating an elevated translucent turquoise directional sign system with vinyl lettering.
