Producing a unique experiential sign for an international hotel icon

The Hilton Bankside is a new five star luxury Hilton specifically designed to fit the character of its location, Bankside.

Well-known for its creative spirit, Bankside is a hub for British creativity, home to many leading creative companies such as the international advertising networks BBDO and Cheil. Bankside is also a short walk from many of London’s creative landmarks, including the South Bank, Tate Modern, and Borough Market.

Hilton’s most creative hotel yet

Modernising and refurbishing the building with design partners, Dexter Moran Associates, Hilton Hotels has created in a fresh, stylish and urban Hilton that fits seamlessly into its area. Each of its 292 bespoke designed rooms has original artwork, the hotel has a trendy neighbourhood eatery, OXBO Bankside, and a casual bar, The Distillery. They also provide an Art Concierge to customers on weekends for tips on exploring Bankside’s local art scene.

A hotel launch with impact

Opening in October 2015, the Hilton Bankside’s management team approached us to add the finishing touches. They wanted to launch the hotel with an impact that caught the local neighbourhood’s attention. As such, they asked us to work with their design partner to create a unique signage concept with impact.
