Upgrading the fascia signage for a premium hotel with some of the best views in London
Plaza on the River is a five-star hotel with views overlooking the Tate Britain, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye. A short walk from Vauxhall Station, this South Bank hotel puts guests within easy reach of the famous West End, the financial district, Westminster Abbey and other iconic London attractions.
Offering 90 generously sized suites with exquisite views, Plaza on the River offers a range of luxury amenities including: a state of the art fitness centre with a range of TechnoGym weight resistance and cardiovascular machines, an exclusive executive lounge on the 12th floor view panoramic views, the award winning Chino Latino restaurant. Chino Latino was voted “Most Loved Local Restaurant” and “Most Loved Local Bar” at the Time Out 2018 Love London awards.
Replacing Plaza on the River’s fascia signage
Undergoing a partial refurbishment in 2016, JFK were commissioned to replace their fascia. Park Plaza London Riverbank management team briefed us that the signage needed to match the building’s spectacle and welcome guests into the hotel, as well as meet Park Plaza’s brand guidelines.
Sharp and sleek: stainless steel and vinyl
In light of this, we created a suite of high-impact fascia signage. This included a feature sign made built-up stainless steel lettering, a series of vinyl signage on glass, and accompanying circular detail signs in mirrored steel.
