Fascia Signs for Dahlia Fashion Boutique

Fascia Signs for Dahlia Fashion Boutique

Creating the fascia signage for an independent Carnaby Street fashion boutique

Dahlia London is an independent British fashion label and boutique that designs vintage-inspired clothing and accessories. It was established in 2002 by British sisters Tracey and Leigh, who started selling their designs at vintage style hubs Spitalfields and Portobello markets.

After ten years of growth, Dahlia now has a store on the world-recognised Carnaby Street in Soho, London, an e-commerce website, and has even been stocked by international fashion retailers like Top Shop.

A brand fresh requires new fascia signage

In late 2017, after undergoing a brand refresh, Dahlia London contacted JFK Signs to refurbish their beautiful Carnaby Street store. As the Carnaby shopping district is home to some of the most exciting independent fashion, beauty and hair boutiques in the world, there is an extremely high retail standard. Shops fronts and interiors are impeccably designed with a strong sense of individuality. Being a highly creative, vintage-inspired clothing boutique, Dahlia’s brief was no different: they wanted vintage-inspired fascia signage that delivered that quirk, independent boutique feel.

Using traditional sign writing methods to get that vintage boutique feel

In light of this we worked closely in line with Dahlia’s new brand identity to create bespoke handcrafted fascia signage using traditional sign writing methods and materials.
