Creating the fascia signage for an established artisan cheesery

The Fine Cheese Co. is an artisan cheese specialist based in Bath and Belgravia. Cheese specialists for over twenty years, they stock over a hundred handmade British cheeses as well as import artisan cheeses from France, Italy, Spain and Holland. A supporter of independent retail, and none of its products can be found in a British supermarket. The Fine Cheese Co. also sell their products in over 600 delicatessens throughout the UK, and in over 30 countries.

A new location in Belgravia’s sort after Motcomb Street

In summer 2016, The Fine Cheese Co. launched its first location in London, Belgravia, As well as selling hundreds of world cheeses and a range of Europe’s finest charcuterie, its also offers a casual dining restaurant with a winery of over 100 premium European bottles.

A bespoke handcrafted approach for a traditional artisan

To add the finishing touch to its new store, The Fine Cheese Co. contacted JFK to provide its fascia signage. As this was high profile launch, with a launch party that included national publishers like House and Garden, the signage needed to be of the highest quality. In light of this, we worked closely with The Fine Cheese Co’s management team to create a series of traditionally crafted bespoke signs – specifically using hand signwriting and gold leafing . This traditional approach perfected suited The Fine Cheese Co’s artisan feel.
