Creating the exterior signage for a leading luxury serviced apartment franchise based in central London
The Armitage is a franchise of luxury serviced apartments set in prime central locations: Marylebone, Notting Hill and Hyde Park. It offers some of the most stylish and well-furnished serviced student and young professional apartments in London’s West End, pairing beautiful central London architecture with high quality, high-spec interiors.
The Armitage’s developments boast an extensive range of facilities and services, including a concierge and maid service, sauna, stylists, private gyms, high-speed broadband, and satellite TV. All of its apartments offer modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher, laundry facilities, and a comfortable living area.
A new central London location needs a new suite of premium signage
Upon launching their Great Portland Street location in late 2018, The Armitage’s management team contacted us to supply its exterior and wayfinding signage. As they provide luxury serviced apartments, they emphasised the need for premium, and on brand signage.
Reverse-etched brass signage
In light of this, we worked closely with The Armitage’s in-house design team to produce a suite of signage: this included a set of intricate reverse-etched graphic brass signs and a series of laser-cut built-up brass lettered signs.
Overall, this added the finishing touch to this set of beautifully furnished serviced apartments which welcome residents with that touch of luxury.
